ADDING MACHINE
A Service That Saves Customers Money^=
RETAIL Merchants using Burroughs Figuring Machines afford a service to customers that saves them money.
There are no over-charges in customers' bills when purchase items are added on a Burroughs Machine. Clerks, adding figures hastily, are likely to make errors that the customer fails to notice. The Burroughs never makes mistakes.
Many retailers use Burroughs Figuring Machines right on the counter. Every cash and charge sale of two or more items are added on the machine. The amounts, and a correct total, are printed on a slip which the merchant hands to the customer.
Both the merchant and the customer know that the amount is right.
